The cycle of studies of the Undergraduate Degree in Communication, Culture and Organizations is comprised of 6 semesters (3 academic years). Those who obtain 180 ECTS are awarded the title.

The main foundation of this undergraduate degree is a broadline training method, that intends to provide skills related to the communicational, cultural and organizational fields of contemporary societies. This degree’s training has a strong academic component, oriented towards the acquisition of specific practical and professional skills. The objective is not only the acquisition of language, communication devices and cultural industries’ skills, but also the framework for a broad and interdisciplinary perspective, for critical reflection about culture’s fundamentals and for the history and social and organizational training characteristics. The training of this degree mostly incorporates scientific accuracy and operative and strategic management skills.

Graduates will have the ability to carry out duties in advisory services in fields such as management, culture, communication and administration; secretariat and customer service; journalism; public relations; Marketing and publicity; audio-visual and interactive media; Film critic and screenwriting; arts, mediation and entertainment; consultancy; teaching and research; company communication.

Candidates

This undergraduate degree is aimed at those who ambition to develop their knowledge and critical stance in fields such as history, communication and culture. Candidates may apply via the National Higher Education Access Contest providing they successfully passed one of the required admission exams. Candidates may also enrol via special regimes such as course/institution transfer, through one of the Special Contests in force or the International Student Statute.
